Delete Your MLCards Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page allows you to request complete deletion of your MLCards account and all associated data.

⚠️ This Action is Permanent

Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. This includes:

Your account and login credentials
Profile information (name, email, avatar)
All bookmarked flashcards
Learning history and progress
Study statistics and streaks
Personalized recommendations data
Any active subscriptions (will be cancelled)

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your MLCards account, simply send us an email request:

What to Include in Your Email

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Your account email address (the one you use to sign in)
Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent

⏱️ Processing Time: Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 7 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

What Happens to Your Subscription?

If you have an active premium subscription:

Your subscription will be cancelled automatically
You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
No further charges will be made after deletion
For immediate subscription cancellation, please also cancel via Google Play Store

Data Retention

After account deletion:

Personal data: Permanently deleted within 7 days
Backups: Removed from all backup systems within 30 days
Anonymized analytics: May be retained (not linked to you)

We may retain certain information if required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes), but this data will not be used to identify you.

Changed Your Mind?

If you haven't sent a deletion request yet, simply continue using MLCards! Your account remains active.

If you've already submitted a request but changed your mind, email us at support@mlcards.co as soon as possible to cancel the deletion.
