Terms of Service

Welcome to MLCards! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MLCards mobile application ("App") and related services provided by MLCards ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MLCards, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Description of Service

MLCards is an educational mobile application that provides:

• Machine Learning and Data Science flashcards
• Swipeable learning experience
• Progress tracking and statistics
• Personalized recommendations
• Bookmark and save functionality
• Premium subscription features

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of MLCards, you must create an account. You can register using:

• Google Sign-In
• Email and password

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use MLCards. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent any security features or access restrictions
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the flashcard content without permission

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content in MLCards, including but not limited to:

• Flashcard text, explanations, and examples
• Graphics, logos, and visual designs
• Code samples and algorithms
• App interface and user experience

is owned by MLCards or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MLCards for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free and Premium Tiers

MLCards offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features include:

• Unlimited flashcard access
• Advanced learning analytics
• Ad-free experience
• Priority support

6.2 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to:

• The subscription price displayed at time of purchase
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Google Play's terms and payment policies

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial periods
• Your account reverts to the free tier

6.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. Contact Google Play support for refund inquiries.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

MLCards is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of your data transmission

While we strive to provide accurate educational content, we do not guarantee that using MLCards will result in specific learning outcomes or job placement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MLCards shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

9. Account Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time by:

• Visiting mlcards.co/delete-account
• Emailing support@mlcards.co

9.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or misuse the service

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending an in-app notification for material changes

Continued use of MLCards after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MLCards shall be resolved through:

1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first at support@mlcards.co to attempt resolution
2. Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MLCards regarding your use of the App.
